Three textures and pinks combine to produce this special card. The outer card is a handmade basket weave mulberry in soft pink. The middle layer is handmade mulberry that is speckled much like a bird's egg, in softer pink. The inner card is a handmade, single white panel, scented with baby powder, from an American mill. The three are held together by a heart shaped shell button sewn on the front and back. A delicately woven cotton ribbon, the palest pink of all, wraps around each button as a clasp. The envelope is translucent vellum or white.
